Authorities were investigating three accidents — including one fatality and another involving a Pasco sheriff’s deputy’s vehicle — on I-75 Thursday night.

Sheriff’s officials were urging motorists should avoid I-75 at State Road 52 as authorities investigated. At least eight cars were involved.

Pasco sheriff’s officials said a rollover accident occurred in that area that resulted in at least one injury in which a person was transported to a local hospital by helicopter.
