FRASER TOWNSHIP, MI — Southbound I-75 is reopened after a traffic crash forced the closure of both lanes between Linwood Road and Pinconning Road in Bay County.

According to Bay County 911, the interstate was reopened to traffic about 12:05 p.m., nearly an hour after the closure was reported about 11:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 19.

The closure was caused by a traffic crash north of the Linwood Road exit, dispatch reported.

Details of the crash, including the cause, were not immediately available, though the Bay County Road Commission sent out a warning to drivers Sunday morning that roads around the county were icy.

Another crash on southbound I-75 in Bay County was reported about 12:05 p.m. north of Whitefeather Road in Pinconning.
