Mother, toddler dead in NB I-75 crash

A mother and her 2-year-old daughter died in a single-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 75 near Downtown late Thursday, Cincinnati police said this morning.

Kerteris Glover, 30, was speeding when she lost control of her 2004 Isuzu Rodeo near the Ezzard Charles Drive exit just after 10 p.m., police said.

The vehicle ran off the road, hit a guardrail and then slammed into an overpass pillar.

Glover died at the scene.

Her two daughters, Ania Foster, 5 and Briasia Paige, 2, were trapped and had to be extricated from the vehicle by Cincinnati firefighters.

Both were taken to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The 2-year-old died.

The 5-year-old suffered serious injuries. She was listed in fair condition as of late Friday afternoon, according to Children’s Hospital officials.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, police said.

The speed limit is 55 mph in that stretch of the highway.

Glover was driving about 65 mph, a crash reports shows.
