First responders on scene at rollover on I-75 in North Naples

Traffic has cleared following a crash on Interstate 75 near mile marker 111.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports the roadway is clear. Two people were injured in the crash, but not seriously, according to paramedics.

First responders are at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover that happened just after 6 p.m. on Interstate 75 in North Naples.

The crash happened in southbound lanes between mile markers 110 and 111, according to Michelle Batten, a spokeswoman for the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies have blocked off one southbound lane, she said.

Jerry Sanford, a spokesman for North Naples Fire and Rescue, said the driver lost control and crashed into the woods, overturning. An adult and a child are being treated for minor injuries, he said.
